Brides and grooms often say, “It went so fast!” My own wedding day was a blur as well. Thank goodness for the photographs to relive the day. I shoot so you remember what it felt like to be there. The blurry black and whites have my heart.
Given the choice between people and things, I will always choose people. But there are times when a thing can be perfect. The bride and her mother made this paper curtain by hand, and it blew perfectly in the fading evening sun.
They got married on Friday the 13th, and it poured! But they were such great sports, and one of the sweetest couples I’ve had the pleasure of photographing. Thank you, Rachel & Matt for a soaking good day.
Awhile back, I won First Place for the Engagement category in PDN Top Knots 2015! I actually did a happy dance. What an industry honor. Thank you, Maggi and Alex, for wanting to do an unconventional engagement shoot.
These two came over from Italy to elope in NYC. I almost fell over when they strolled out of their hotel to meet me. Them: tall, gorgeous, stylish, warm. Me: petite, awestruck, delighted to photograph them and their intimate nuptials.
How cute are these two? We celebrated their engagement with photos in their community garden in Brooklyn, where they have a marvelous plot they’ve been tending for years! The beet is their first harvest of the year–admittedly a bit early, but we couldn’t resist.
